The City of La Porte is at it again!
 
No sooner than Barry Beasley quit as mayor... the City of La Porte filed a lawsuit against me to get me off of my property!
 
I was not issued a warning... or a ticket.
 
First I heard there was a problem was when the Constable delivered the notice that a lawsuit had been filed!
 
They claim I can not live in a travel trailer on my own property as my primary residence.
 
Only my travel trailer is NOT my primary residence.
 
Last year the City issued me a warning... and then a ticket for living on my property in a tent... then they filed a lawsuit against me for that.
 
I contacted the mayor then, Barry Beasley and he made them drop the charges and the lawsuit.
 
Now that Barry is gone... I guess someone on City Council wants to play games again!
 
Only... I'm not going to play anymore!
 
I am taking this as a SERIOUS personal attack against my rights as a property owner!
 
I WILL be taking this to trial... I WILL be subpeonaing most if not all of the City Council as well as the City Manager, Ron Bottoms AND their City Inspector!
 
I WILL be contacting the media!
 
I WILL be protesting outside of City Hall!
 
I WILL win this fight!
 
I WILL also win my coutersuit... for $1!
 
It's not about the money... but the principle!!
